Hi, I’m Kate!

I'm a registered dietitian and owner of Mealwaukee.

I’m what you would call an anti-diet and food freedom dietitian. My main goal in life is to empower others to stop dieting forever, feel confident and eat real food! I don’t believe in fad diets and quick fixes. I do believe that all foods fit and there’s room in your diet for all your favorites.

As a kid, I loved to bake. It wasn’t until my first night in my new apartment after graduating college that I really started to dip my toe in the waters of cooking an actual meal, not just chocolate chip cookies. I remember feeling SO nervous to mess up.

Fast forward 10 years and now I’m a dietitian who loves to cook. I teach cooking demos several times per month and love any opportunity I can get to cook for friends and family.

I found out quickly with my nutrition coaching clients that not everyone feels the same way as I do about cooking. Many of you don’t have the time or energy or just hands down despise it.

This is how Mealwaukee was born. I know how good it feels to eat good food. But I also know how challenging it can be to get a good meal on the table.
